Ok, it is far from the magic of ice cream, but sunscreen really is something to scream about- in a good way. Not only does it help to protect against skin cancer, but it also helps to prevent aging. Yet these two important factors don’t seem to be enough for us to wear it everyday or AT LEAST when we will be out in the sun. By out in the sun, I mean everything from the beach to a sporting event. (Guilty, guilty guilty).
*Today’s blurb is on sunscreen for the face. Remembering to use sunscreen for the body is a work in progress.
Anyway, I admit I was not big on sunscreen, mainly because it made me scream in frustration due to the breakouts it caused. However, I am happy to report that I have continuously used this sunscreen and I have suffered zero breakouts as well as zero sunburn.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Tinted Sunscreen for the face. This stuff is shamazing. It is
- Fragrance free,
- Paraben free
- Water resistant (40 minutes).
- It has 11% Titanium Dioxide (remember to avoid those other sunscreens that begin with the letter O.)
- It has a slight color to even out the face a bit. This is mostly to combat the white effect sunscreens can have.
Here’s a pic with just the sunscreen on:
Pretty good. It’s not a makeup, do don’t expect that. However you can now go to the beach with a little bit color on the face without resorting to foundation. Makeup at the beach is just weird sometimes. Am I right?
Till next time…
