I’m confused. I’m the girl who needs her foundation oil and fragrance free or her skin freaks out either immediately (bumps) or after a day or two (cystic acne). Yet for the last week I’ve been using a concealer made with coconut oil and nothing. has. happened. Nothing. Infact, my skin looks better and has less clogging overall.
Oh, and I’m using it as foundation. Yes that’s right, it’s madness! Let’s have a look see:
I’m currently using shade 4 which is a touch dark but I feel so pale this winter that I don’t mind. Shade 3 is too perfect and I feel like I look anemic or I may pass out from the vapors.
This tube of concealer is $6.00 at Ulta. A little goes a long way, so I have a feeling it’s going to last a while
I can’t tell you why this is working out for me, but it is. Maybe the cold weather is making my skin need oil? If you’re dry, try this out. If you are combo/oily keep it minimally applied. I think applying this under the eye is not enough and it is not super flattering. However, as a glowy foundation it rules.
Check it out:
Makes dry skin happy! Now if only the cold would stop pissing me off.
Till next time…
Ten days until Valentine’s Day!
Well, that’s a bit much.
Valentine’s Day may not be tons of fun, but you know what is?
A new, seasonal lipstick from Kiko Milano. If that packaging isn’t adorable enough, look at the inside:
LOOK AT IT!!!!!
It’s heart shaped ❤️.
This lipstick is only 7 bucks and it is the plum lipstick of Kiko Milano’s Endless Love collection.
(Btw I’ve now included two old-people references in this post. The young millennials are going to be so lost.)
This super fun lippy (ew, did I just write that?) comes in 6 shades. The one I chose is Passion Plum. I love it because of the subtle gold flecks mixed in.
Let’s see how it looks:
(You can see a bit of the sheen)
Pros and Cons time!
- Adorable packaging
- Beautiful shade (Passion Plum)
- The packaging! 😍😍😍
- I don’t think they have a shade like this all the time 👎🏻 It’s easily the prettiest shade in the whole store.
Happy Valentine’s Day in advance, and may we all find:
